An Advocacy Session is a focused 45-minute consultation that maps your child's specific situation against the structural tools available to you — IEP, 504, accommodations, procedural safeguards — and builds a concrete plan for what to request, how to document it, and what to do when the school says no.
We work from your child's actual situation — their current plan (or lack of one), the school's most recent response, the meeting you're preparing for, or the pattern that keeps repeating. Bring any documents you have. We start where you are.
Map the current plan
We review what's in place — IEP, 504, informal accommodations, or nothing — and identify the structural gaps between what exists and what the law requires.
Build the request
We build the specific accommodation language, evaluation requests, or procedural challenges you need — written in the institution's language so it can't be easily dismissed.
Prepare for the meeting
We map the likely pushback, build your response scripts, and establish clear documentation standards for every interaction with the school going forward.
Advocacy Brief
Within 48 hours of your session, you receive a written document that captures what we mapped and what to do next. Specific to your child, your school, and your situation.
